Not every gym is a hall full of machines and loud music. There is also the neighbourhood gym: a small business with personal training and small groups, where the owner knows who has a knee injury and who wants to lose weight before summer. That business is who Grip op je sportschool is for.
It is the same software as GymPilot and Grip op Sport. What differs is the angle. An owner only recognises software as theirs when it describes their own work, and here that work is personal.
Three brands, one product
Why not one site for everyone? Because a judo club, a tough gym and a small personal training studio each ask a different question. The club wants less admin for volunteers, the gym wants schedules on the floor, and the neighbourhood gym wants to coach its members personally. Each brand tells the part that matters to that reader, with its own style and its own images.
Under the hood nothing changes. Every improvement reaches all three, and the price is the same fair price per member everywhere. The three sites themselves are built with Grip op Sport as well, in eleven languages.
It starts with a conversation
Good coaching starts with an intake: what someone can do and wants, and which injuries or limitations there are. That is health data, and it deserves care. The member gives explicit consent, only those with the right to do so can open the intake, and every view is logged.
A schedule that fits the person
A trainer starts from a template and adapts it for this person: exercises added or removed, weight and reps, and a point of attention at the top, such as "go easy on the knee". The member chooses how to work with the schedule: just look at it, tick off per workout or record every set.
Seeing progress together
What the member records, the trainer sees as well. A chart per exercise shows how it is going, which gives the next conversation a good start.
And the rest of the business
Members, small group classes with attendance, personal training appointments, memberships and invoices with online payment or direct debit, messages to members and a website of its own: it is all in the same system. A member can have a personal schedule and join a group class too, and the trainer sees it all in one place.
