Grip op Sport started as software for sports clubs. It soon became clear that gyms ask the same questions: members, memberships, classes, payments and a website. What they need on top of that is everything around the workout itself. For them I built GymPilot: the same complete software, with its own brand and its own site for the gym.
The message on gympilot.nl is short: your whole gym, one system. No pile of separate programs with a licence each, but one fair price per member in tiers, so a small gym pays little.
A schedule in a few minutes
The heart of GymPilot is the schedule editor. A trainer starts empty or from a template, drags exercises into place and sets the sets, reps, weight, rest and machine setting per training day. Then the schedule is assigned in one go to a member, a group or a whole class.
Behind the editor is a library of 606 exercises in eleven languages, almost all with a short animated explanation. A gym takes it over as its own copy and adds its own exercises, photos and videos.
Tracking per set
A member opens the schedule on the phone and records each set. The values from last time are already filled in, with an arrow that shows whether it was more or less, and a rest timer starts after every set. Everyone sees they are getting stronger, and the trainer sees it too.
Scan the machine
Every machine can carry a QR code. Scanning it shows which exercises belong to that machine, with explanation and images. Useful for new members, and it saves the trainer a lot of repeated questions.
One system for the whole gym
Besides schedules, GymPilot handles the rest of the business: members with rights per role (owner, trainer, front desk and member), group classes with attendance and QR check-in, trial classes that newcomers request themselves, memberships with online payment and direct debit, messages to members and a website of its own. An intake records experience and injuries, with explicit consent of the member and a log of every view.
Because GymPilot runs on the same core as Grip op Sport, every gym benefits from everything that is added there, and the other way around. Members have their own app; I write about that separately.
Try it yourself
On gympilot.nl a gym can create a trial environment right away and use GymPilot free for 21 days. Prefer a tour first? Book a demo.
